George R. Gray (fl. 1920–1952) was an English footballer who played in the Football League as a wing half for Swansea Town and Northampton Town in the 1920s. He began his senior career with West Hartlepool, and was on the books of Bury without representing them in the league. He went on to work for Sunderland as trainer, then took full-time charge of the treatment room, and did some scouting. He acted as trainer to the England team when they played Wales at Roker Park in 1950. His son, also a George Gray, played League football as a half back for Grimsby Town, Swindon Town and Darlington in the 1950s. ==References==
